HBO releases in May: Rick and Morty, Doom Patrol (T2), Stargirl and more titles are back
April is giving its last hits and we already know what the HBO Spain releases are for May. Take note of the calendar of the movies and series that arrive on the platform next month.
In May, a good handful of series and movies reach HBO Spain for all kinds of audiences, so you will surely find more than one title of your interest.
In the series section, the premieres of the second part of season 4 of Rick and Morty, the first season of Stargirl, the second season of Doom Patrol and the miniseries The Undeniable Truth stand out. Among the film releases we have Gravity, the Sharknado saga or the Snowden movie.

New series coming to HBO in May
Rick and Morty fans will be able to enjoy the second part of the fourth season starting on May 4 . The last chapter of the first half of this installment came before last Christmas, and since then fans have been waiting for the new adventures of Rick Sánchez and Morty Smith. We will see what are the new follies in which the grandfather involves the grandson.
On May 11th, The Undeniable Truth will arrive , the awaited miniseries starring Mark Ruffalo. The actor plays twin brothers in a plot adapted by the eponymous novel: Thomas, one of them, suffers from schizophrenia, and his brother Dominick tries to help him out of the mental institution in which he is hospitalized.
After the great success of the first installment, another of the most anticipated releases is the second season of Doom Patrol , which will take place on May 29. At the moment the details of the plot of the new installment are barely known, so we will have to wait to know more.

HBO Spain’s catalog of films is also expanding this May. Among the most prominent releases we find Gravity , the space drama directed by Alfonso Cuarón and starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
Another notable movie premiere is Snowden , the film about Edward Snowden directed by Oliver Stone and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Although it was a box office failure, it offers an insight into the history of the popular ex-CIA and NSA agent.
